Sincerest condolences to Ted Rogers’ wife Loretta and their children on the news of his passing. He was the epitome of hard work, perseverance and unrelenting belief in his ideas and direction for the company that he founded on Loretta’s inheritance advance of $450,000¹ back in the ’60s. Even though he was a trained lawyer, his entrepreneurial endeavor was his passion. So it could be said that Ted Rogers has had a good life enjoying what he loved.
Sometimes it seems that he was larger than life and that this company that he built from the ground up would not be the same without him. To those that would now fill his shoes, it’s a gargantuan task and one that could be quite intimidating so a prayer and good luck may be in order. His work ethic and fearlessness are to be admired and emulated.
It is a pity that he should go so young in what is now the prime of life at 75 years old. Since this blog focuses on healthy outcomes based in large part to eating to be healthy, it should be noted that diseases such as strokes, heart disease and diabetes can be controlled or even reversed by changes in lifestyles as well as eating habits.
